We are designing a course which is guaranteed to produce interesting racing. This is, after all, a spectator sport. Runners will line up in the chug zone and start their first beer when the figurative gun fires (no birds will be hurt during the Arkansas State Championship Beer Mile).
Following completion of their first beer (which must take place in the chug zone) they will head out for their first hard left turn. In almost no time (literally) they’ll make their second hard left turn and find themselves on the backstretch where they can look over their shoulder to see who still has a can in their hand. Two more hard left turns later, they’ll be a few steps away from crossing the start/finish line to enter the chug zone and start this process over.
We will share the final location and overhead map closer to the event, but all you really need to know is how to DRINK BEER and TURN LEFT!
